About Fatima

Fatima Palangi is an Iranian-Australian artist based in Sydney specialising in abstract painting. She is best known for her bold, large scale, contemporary artworks. Over the last 20 years, Fatima has gained extensive experience working and teaching painting, drawing, new media arts, and interior design. She has been involved in several solo and group exhibitions across Australia and internationally in Canada, China, Dubai, Oman and Iran.

Fatima has earned her Bachelor of Visual Arts from Australian National University (ANU) in 2008 and her Master of New Media Art from Sydney College of the Arts (SCA) in 2011. Fatima’s artworks can be found in private collections across Australia, Europe, and the middle east.
